Join our team in Barcelona as a Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto) - F/M/X! You will play a key role in managing and securing our global network infrastructure, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust firewall operations and compliance in a dynamic, international environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer and manage Palo Alto firewalls in enterprise environments
  • Operate and maintain Panorama for centralized firewall management
  • Review, clean, and optimize firewall rules to ensure compliance with security policies
  • Support application migrations to third-party data centers by configuring secure connectivity
  • Analyze and validate firewall change requests and remediate risky configurations
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams during deployments
  • Handle firewall-related incidents and service requests within ITIL processes
  • Maintain firewall and security documentation in shared repositories

Requirements:

  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
  • Experience reviewing and optimizing firewall rulebases
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing
  • Understanding of VPNs and secure connectivity
  • Experience with change management processes (ITIL)
  • Palo Alto certification (PCNSE preferred)
  • English fluent
  • Additional languages are a plus
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proactive mindset
  • Ability to work in global team
