As a Senior Manager in our Cyber Protection and Defense (CPD) organization, you will be instrumental in building and supporting secure and modern Network Security Controls that help to secure The Boeing Company. and its partners. Bringing deep expertise in network security, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)/ Security Service Edge (SSE) platforms, and Zero Trust architecture, you will lead cross-functional engineering teams to foster a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. As a visionary leader reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will drive the design and delivery of network security controls that enhance the resilience, security, and scalability of the enterprise's defense posture. This role combines hands-on technical leadership and people/operations management: you will define and execute the network security product roadmap, oversee the implementation of next-generation firewalls, Virtual Private Network (VPN)/remote access, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), lead the networking portions of the enterprise Zscaler implementation, manage strategic supplier and vendor technical relationships, and develop individual contributors and team leaders. You will integrate engineering, security, and partnership activities across the Cyber Protection & Defense organization — shaping roadmaps, approving technical approaches, partnering with other cyber control areas on Zero Trust delivery, and ensuring network security services meet reliability, compliance, and business objectives.
