Job Description:

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be the central technical coordinator responsible for the reliable delivery of network infrastructure upgrades across a large, multi-campus environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate the technical delivery and minimise disruption during building upgrades
  • Serve as the main on-site technical coordinator for vendors, managing installation activities
  • Proactively ensure all OH&S compliance is met
  • Lead the documentation, capture, and analysis of all network connections and communication room requirements
  • Establish formal change management processes and prepare Change Advisory Board (CAB) artifacts for the new network implementation
  • Execute pre-upgrade tasks (e.g., electrical coordination, patch lead removal) and perform crucial service validation post-upgrade
  • Lead rapid resolution activities with network teams and vendors to restore services swiftly after completion
  • Provide hyper-care support to building occupants and manage issue escalation to the Program Manager

Requirements:

Extensive experience coordinating the installation and upgrade of new network infrastructure and services across multiple sites, particularly within capital building projects. Demonstrated excellence in analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to solve complex network validation issues. Proven capacity to effectively engage and influence technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve successful delivery outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation and report writing capabilities. Highly Desirable: Knowledge or exposure to the implementation of Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) and Identity Services Engine (ISE) within an enterprise network, and an understanding of structured cabling standards.
