Job Description

We’re looking for a Network Optimisation Analyst to join our Global Logistics team. In this role, you’ll support the Leads and the Head of Network Optimisation in delivering high-impact projects that improve our delivery network’s performance. Your focus will be on turning data into insights, improving processes, and enabling the success of cross-functional initiatives across our global markets.

Job Responsibility

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Leverage advanced SQL to extract, analyse, and visualise performance data from our logistics network to support decision-making
  • Support Network Improvement Projects: Assist Leads and senior team members in identifying, scoping, and implementing optimisation initiatives (e.g., courier assignment logic, batching rules, prep time tuning)
  • Tool Monitoring & Refinement: Monitor tool and algorithm performance, flag anomalies, and contribute to refining their setup for better network outcomes
  • Performance Reporting: Build and maintain regular performance reports using Google Sheets, Tableau, or similar tools to track KPIs and project outcomes
  • Documentation: Help maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of tools, processes, and analytical methodologies
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with local and global teams to ensure accurate implementation of improvements and gather feedback on tool effectiveness
  • Ad Hoc Problem Solving: Tackle urgent analytical or operational requests that arise in a fast-paced logistics environment

Requirements

  • Experience in an analytical or operations support role, ideally in logistics, delivery, or a data-driven operational environment
  • Strong SQL skills required
  • Experience with large datasets and reporting tools like Tableau or BigQuery is a plus
  • Analytical thinking: ability to break down complex problems and approach them with structured logic and data
  • Communication: clear communicator able to translate data into insights and share findings with diverse stakeholders
  • Attention to detail: a meticulous mindset when it comes to data accuracy and operational consistency
