The Network Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the Fixed Access Network, including both fiber and copper infrastructure, as well as active equipment (OLT, DSLAM). This role ensures the implementation of technical guidelines, supervises network upgrades and maintenance, and leads a team of engineers and technicians. The supervisor drives continuous improvement in operational processes, manages vendor relationships, and is accountable for maintaining accurate network inventory and service quality respecting relevant Network KPIs and SLAs.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and coordinate the deployment, operation, and maintenance of the fixed access network (fiber and copper)
Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians, ensuring high performance and professional development
Oversee network inventory updates and ensure all changes are accurately documented for optimal customer service
Define and enforce network deployment standards, procedures, and processes
Monitor Health & Safety compliance and ensure adherence to country-specific contract controls
Drive continuous improvement in operational guidelines and standard procedures/processes, collaborating with network deployment and design teams
Manage tactical and operational planning, aligning demand forecasts with rollout plans and business objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
Previous track-record experience in Fixed Access Networks
Supervisory or team lead responsibilities would be considered as a plus
