This role is ideal for a motivated team player with experience in first-line support, preferably within a Managed Service Provider environment, and strong customer service skills. Comprehensive training will be provided across the technologies supported, but the ability to quickly adapt to operational processes is essential. As a Network Operations Specialist, you will be part of a team delivering 24/7/365 support for a range of customer networks.
Job Responsibility:
Proactive monitoring of customer devices, dashboards, logs and NMS platforms
Logging and investigating incidents, escalating where necessary
Responding to customer queries via phone, email, and service portal
Ensuring all tickets are handled in line with SLA requirements
Following scripted procedures to implement changes on customer systems
Using service desk tools and a range of monitoring platforms to manage workload
Requirements:
Experience in first-line support
Preferably within a Managed Service Provider environment
Strong customer service skills
Ability to quickly adapt to operational processes
Any current exposure to Cisco Switching, ASR/ISR Routers, ASA/FTD Firewalls
Any current exposure to Juniper, Fortinet and Extreme Networks
Any current exposure to VoIP telephony
