Job Responsibility

  • Technical networking ability to troubleshoot WAN, LAN, Network Security, Cloud Internet Security Platform and Tools
  • Service restoration, sustainability, and proactive service improvement
  • Participating and at times leading Major Incident conference calls and can identify required resources
  • Provide full Root Cause Analysis for any production outages
  • Patch management
  • Managed Service Provider technical resource and capabilities evaluation
  • Availability tracking and technical elimination of repeat incidents

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT Operations Technical Engineering positions
  • Expert Knowledge of Carrier Services – SDWAN VeloCloud & WAN Circuits, MPLS, Point to Point
  • Expert Knowledge of networking infrastructure suppliers and service offerings including
  • Cisco, Aruba & Infoblox
  • Experience working with Enterprise Wireless Network Services (wireless first concept)
  • Experience working with Cloud Internet Security Planform, such as Zscaler
  • Demonstrable understanding of network load balancers and firewalls
  • Experience with monitoring applications such as SolarWinds & Riverbed
  • Experience of working as part of a Global 24*7 support model
  • Professional Technical Certification preferred
  • History of working in both an insource IT model and a blend of Managed Service Delivery would be beneficial
  • MUST have B2 or above level of German language skills
