Job Description

Role: Network Operation L2. Location: New Delhi. Long-term contract.

Job Responsibility

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network switches and routers
  • Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
  • Implement VLANs, routing protocols, and network security policies
  • Handle LAN/WAN troubleshooting and incident management
  • Work with firewall and network security configurations
  • Maintain network documentation and reports
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, and subnetting
  • Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers (e.g., Cisco Systems devices)
  • Knowledge of VLAN, STP, NAT, and ACLs
  • Basic understanding of firewall technologies
  • Experience with network monitoring tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in network operations
  • Certifications like CCNA or CCNP are preferred

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of wireless networking
  • Experience with data center networking
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python or shell)
