Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Manager to lead and support a team of network engineers while owning the stability, performance, and security of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership and vendor management.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 network engineers, providing technical guidance and performance support
  • Oversee daily operations of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network environments
  • Ensure high availability and performance through proactive monitoring and rapid troubleshooting
  • Act as primary escalation point for complex network issues and outages
  • Partner with service providers to resolve WAN and carrier-related issues
  • Lead network design, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures

Requirements

  • Strong Project Manager
  • 6+ years of networking and IT experience, including team leadership or senior-level responsibility
  • Strong experience with Cisco VPN technologies
  • Deep knowledge of routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF
  • Excellent troubleshooting and WAN diagnostic skills
  • Experience working independently with service providers and carriers
  • Strong knowledge of LAN technologies: STP, VLANs, HSRP, VTP
  • Working technical knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SNMP, TACACS+
  • Experience supporting Cisco wireless technologies
  • Ability to commute to Malibu, more frequently for the first three months
