Job Description:

We are looking for a Network L1 Data Engineer/Analyst to support day-to-day network monitoring, data validation, incident logging, and basic troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of networking fundamentals and experience working with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor network alerts and dashboards (L1 support)
  • Log incidents and raise tickets in ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, VPN, and connectivity issues
  • Validate network-related data, reports, and device inventory
  • Support escalation to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation
  • Track SLA, outage reports, and daily operational updates
  • Maintain accurate records and follow SOPs

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls (basic)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds / Nagios / Zabbix – any)
  • Ticketing tool experience (ServiceNow / Remedy – any)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts if required

Nice to have:

  • CCNA knowledge (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of Linux commands
  • Experience in NOC environment
