Job Description

The Senior Network Engineer (L3) is a hands-on technical expert responsible for design, implementation, and optimization of complex enterprise network environments, with a strong focus on project delivery and technical ownership. You will work on both strategic initiatives (e.g. migrations, redesigns, modernization) and advanced operational challenges, acting as a key escalation and engineering authority.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead design and implementation of enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN solutions
  • Take ownership of network transformation projects (e.g. SDA, SD-WAN, DC migrations, network redesigns)
  • Define and implement network architecture aligned with business and technical requirements
  • Act as L3 escalation point for complex incidents and critical issues
  • Work with network automation and configuration tools (e.g. Ansible, APIs, scripting)
  • Participate in solution design reviews and technical governance
  • Lead troubleshooting and perform deep root cause analysis across multi-domain environments
  • Drive technical decision-making in projects and operational improvements
  • Plan and execute network changes, upgrades, and migrations (including risk mitigation)
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, vendors, and global teams
  • Contribute to standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of network services
  • Support pre-sales or technical consultations when required (solution input, feasibility)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering (including L3 / senior responsibilities)
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise networks (not only operations)
  • Proven track record of working on projects (migration, rollout, transformation)
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently drive technical topics
  • Experience acting as escalation point and handling critical incidents
  • Ability to work across teams and coordinate technical activities end-to-end
  • Fluent in Polish and English (mandatory)
  • CCNP Enterprise or higher (strongly preferred)

Nice to have

  • Data Center networking (Nexus, ACI)
  • Network automation (Ansible, scripting, APIs)
  • Firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
  • Cloud networking (AWS / Azure)
  • Additional vendor certifications are a plus

What we offer

  • Work on real engineering projects – not only BAU/support
  • Opportunity to influence architecture and technical direction
  • Access to certifications and advanced technical training (Cisco, cloud, security)
  • Hybrid work model (Warsaw + remote)
  • Collaboration with experienced engineers and architects
  • Stable role in a global organization (NTT DATA)
