Provide systems/network engineering support to a program that seeks to adopt a phased approach to building infrastructure needed for the deep inspection of AI systems and analysis of large-scale AI models
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and provide feedback on proposed architecture designs, performance optimization, reliability, and security requirements
Review and provide optimized network design and architecture diagrams
Coordinate with cloud service providers such as AWS and/or Oracle
Deploy industry best practices for securing cloud environments
Collaborate with project leads and vendors to ensure system design meets Sponsor’s requirements
Architect and deploy network infrastructure for distributed AI systems
Design systems that support large-scale model analysis and experimentation
Build infrastructure to enable controlled experiments on LLM behavior
Collaborate with researchers to adapt systems to evolving needs
Requirements:
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
Knowledge of theory and practice underlying LAN/WAN network operations
Knowledge of communications and information security policies and practices
Knowledge of multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with Linux systems administration and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
