Job Description:

Infotech Spectrum, Inc. has openings for Network Engineer in Santa Clara, CA.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and write procedures for Installation, Maintenance & troubleshooting of communications hardware, software or other network and system related issues
Plan, design, implement and maintain wireless networks to meet the business needs of a large enterprise
Assist with the design, implementation and support services of LAN, WLAN and Meraki Enterprise Networks
Develop and provide technical assistance to customer requirements for their networks and assist with integration with their existing and future infrastructure requirements
Work on the re-engineering of legacy Wireless/LAN/Meraki infrastructure to the latest technology as per the standards for customers
Provide customers with design documents such as HLD, LLD, Network related implementation documents (MOP)
Testing in the lab environments before getting the product into production
Working closely with peers and vendors on the overall network technical design documents, implementation, and technical issues to suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
Using python scripting in current projects for analyzing the data and generating reports for automation
Collaborate with other support team members to fix network outages, misconfigurations, and sophisticated networking issues on customers’ devices
Provide troubleshooting assistance whenever is needed to resolve complex network issues on production or pre-production environments
Provide AS Built design documentation and knowledge transfer as needed to the customers after each assignment (an individual site)
Participate in design, build, and test activities related to new Wi-Fi deployments, network upgrades, and technology/platform evaluations
Making recommendations for wireless network optimization, additions, and upgrades to meet customer needs, and preparing a detail network specification to use the information to identify, predict the data, interpreting, and evaluating system and network requirements.

Requirements:

Required Master’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT, CIS, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field
Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.
