We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis 100% remote. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in managing complex networking systems and ensuring optimal performance across diverse platforms. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects while collaborating with a dynamic and skilled team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, configure, and maintain Cisco routers to ensure seamless network connectivity
  • Manage and optimize Palo Alto firewalls for enhanced security and performance
  • Implement and troubleshoot Cisco ASA systems to safeguard network infrastructure
  • Oversee the operation and configuration of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for efficient routing and data transmission
  • Analyze and resolve networking issues to maintain high availability and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and changes
  • Proactively monitor network systems to identify and address potential vulnerabilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support for networking projects and initiatives
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and processes
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve network operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in configuring and managing Cisco routers
  • Proficiency in handling Palo Alto firewalls and ensuring robust security measures
  • Solid knowledge of Cisco ASA systems and their application in network security
  • Expertise in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its role in routing
  • Strong understanding of Cisco networking principles and best practices
