Job Description

Are you a hands-on Network Engineer who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges and owning critical systems end to end? This is an opportunity to take full ownership of a high-visibility initiative focused on building a resilient, highly available network environment that supports mission-critical applications and data. You will work directly with a senior technical leader in a tight, collaborative environment where your expertise will shape the design, implementation, and long-term stability of the network. This is not a maintenance role, this is a build and optimize opportunity where your decisions will have immediate and lasting impact.

Job Responsibility

  • Take ownership of designing and implementing ISP failover and redundancy strategies across a data center environment
  • Assess current network topology and identify gaps in resiliency and performance
  • Architect and deploy BGP and EGBP routing solutions to ensure continuous uptime
  • Configure and optimize Cisco HSRP for high availability
  • Rework IP addressing schemes to support improved failover and scalability
  • Ensure uptime and performance of virtual switching environments
  • Document all changes and provide knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in BGP and EGBP routing protocols
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco HSRP and high-availability network design
  • Proven track record designing and implementing ISP failover solutions in data center environments
  • Ability to independently assess, design, and execute complex network improvements

Nice to have

  • Experience in MSP or multi-tenant environments
  • Exposure to SD-WAN or modern WAN architectures
  • Network certifications such as CCNP or CCIE
