Network Engineer

• Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs
• Manage and support Azure network components such as VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways, Azure Firewall, and ExpressRoute
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues across both on-prem and Azure environments
• Assist with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network hardware and cloud-based networking tools
• Ensure secure connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud services
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with internal IT teams
• Document existing network architecture (including Azure components) and provide recommendations for optimization
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance, security, and resiliency
• Support network changes, upgrades, and patching activities as required

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), IPsec VPN, and VPN technologies
• Hands-on experience with Network Equipment: Cisco and Juniper switches, routers, and firewalls
• Cloud Networking: Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway NSGs
• Virtualization & Infrastructure: VMware, Pure Storage systems, Windows, Linux, DUO
• Security and Endpoint Management: Sentinel One
• Implementing and testing disaster recovery procedures
• VPN and Remote Access Solutions: Ivanti
• Proven experience working with Azure networking services: Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, and Peering
• Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Azure Firewalls
• Azure ExpressRoute and/or VPN Gateway
• Load Balancers and Application Gateways
• Experience with Azure Portal, ARM templates, or Terraform for network provisioning is a plus
• Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostics tools such as Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and Wireshark
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
