Job Description:

The Network Engineer at NTT DATA will play a crucial role in the operational design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network environments. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Cisco networking technologies and enterprise networking fundamentals. Proficiency in both Polish and English is mandatory. The role requires expertise in routing and switching technologies, incident handling, and network troubleshooting. Preferred certifications include CCNP Enterprise and CCNA. This position offers a hybrid working environment, allowing for flexibility in work location.

Job Responsibility:

Design, implement, operate, and maintain LAN and WAN network environments
Configure, deploy, and manage network devices, primarily Cisco routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure
Operate and maintain routing and switching technologies, including VLANs, OSPF, BGP, QoS, and related enterprise protocols
Support and maintain WAN connectivity, including branch and campus networks
Perform incident handling, root cause analysis, and advanced troubleshooting of network issues
Monitor network performance and proactively identify stability or capacity risks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation (diagrams, configurations, operational procedures)
Collaborate with internal teams and, when required, support international network-related projects
Contribute to continuous improvement of network standards and operational best practices

Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on experience in a network engineering or network operations role
Language: Polish and English (both mandatory)
Strong knowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN)
Practical experience with: Routing & switching (OSPF, BGP)
VLANs, QoS
Wireless LAN environments
Experience in operational network support and maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments
Good documentation habits and the ability to clearly communicate technical topics
Good command of English, both spoken and written (international collaboration)
Technologies: Main stack (must-have): Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, wireless)
Nice to have: Cisco SD-Access (SDA) and/or SD‑WAN
Fortinet (FortiGate / Fortinet ecosystem)
Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts in: AWS and Microsoft Azure
Certifications: CCNP Enterprise – preferred
CCNA or equivalent networking certification – beneficial
Other vendor certifications are a plus but not required

Nice to have:
