Tier4Group is seeking a proactive, hands-on Network Engineer who will actively drive, own, and close technical tickets while serving as a key technical bridge between the Senior Network Engineer and Tier 1 NOC team. This is a true “middle-ground” engineer role — ideal for someone operating at a Tier 3 support level with approximately 3+ years of networking experience and working exposure to cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure). The ideal candidate is technically strong, operationally driven, and comfortable working in multi-tenant environments. This role requires someone who does not wait for direction but actively pushes issues toward resolution, improves processes, and helps elevate the overall support function.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor network availability, performance, and reliability across environments
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime
Take ownership of escalated tickets and actively drive them to closure
Serve as the escalation point between Tier 1 NOC and Senior Network Engineering
Perform root cause analysis, document findings, and recommend long-term improvements
Support mission-critical systems in multi-tenant environments
Deploy, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and related infrastructure
Work with hardware platforms such as SonicWall, Cambium, UniFi, Meraki, Fortinet, WatchGuard, or similar vendors
