Job Description:

This is a highly technical role providing post-sales remote and on-site support of Network products to end-customers in Latam region. The Network Engineer will develop and maintain expertise on products deployed within customer's network and provide technical support for networking infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

Provide post-sales remote and on-site support of Network products to end-customers in Latam region
Develop and maintain expertise on products deployed within customer's network
Hold network information gathering workshops with customer
Understand customer's organizational structure and network implementation procedures
Carry out testing of new designs, features, and functionality
Validate patches and fixes to operating software
Troubleshoot equipment and network problems
Initiate and track TAC cases through to problem resolution
Track Return Material Authorizations (RMA's)
Analyze network performance in terms of tickets, root causes, common causes, correlation and trends
Manage network inventory and respective SW versions
Analyze technical bulletins and risks in client's installed base
Produce written summary reports of status of Design projects
Hold technology workshops with customer
Assist customer with development and documentation of Network Operation Procedures
Support production environment products within customer infrastructure

Requirements:

Engineering or equivalent Graduates with 8+ years of relevant work experience
Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently
Strong Interpersonal skills
Presentation skills
Ability to work well with many levels of customer engineering and management
7+ years of experience providing implementation and technical support of networking products in LAN, WAN, or Internet services environments
7+ years experience in managing large technical account activity revolving around network products from multiple vendors
Work experience working with Service Providers in the Telco Industry environment
Experience in fault isolation logic and techniques
Detailed technical experience in the installation and operation of IP Routers Switches and Firewalls
Detailed understanding of protocols surrounding IP networks
TCP/IP fundamentals
IP subnetting and super netting and hierarchical routing principles
Routing protocol operation (OSPF and BGP)
Routing policies at BGP peering points
VPNs and associated tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS, etc.)
Switching, spanning tree and other switching technology
Firewalls and associated technologies
Experience with IPv6, Multicast, PIM and L3VPNs
Experience with EVPN, Segment Routing and Security

Nice to have:

JNCA, JNCIP or equivalent certification level
Experience in JUNOS JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE or other vendor equivalent expert level certifications
