Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will manage networking responsibilities for a major project, working closely with external teams to establish and maintain connectivity. This position requires expertise in designing and implementing networking solutions to ensure seamless operations across multiple sites.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement a CE hub VNet, including Gateway, Resolver, and Bastion, in the new environment
  • Establish VNet peering between hub and spoke networks across all subscriptions to ensure connectivity
  • Collaborate with external networking teams on ExpressRoute, SD-WAN, and cross-tenant connections
  • Migrate and manage Meraki network devices across approximately 85 sites
  • Configure and validate private DNS zones and private endpoints for secure operations
  • Provide support for cloud networking components of VoIP and other migration projects
  • Develop detailed network architecture documentation, including peering configurations and operational procedures
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Assist in implementing security measures, such as firewalls and access controls, to protect network infrastructure

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Cisco routers and networking technologies
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA for security and VPN solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and routing configurations
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and VNet peering in a multi-subscription environment
  • Experience in managing large-scale network migrations, including Meraki devices
  • Strong documentation skills for network architecture and operational procedures

  • Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders
  • Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures
  • Assists telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management with network interfaces
