Job Description:

Network Engineer – Aruba Premium Services will have expert level knowledge in networking, strong communication & collaboration skills. Incumbent must have knowledge of advanced & emerging technologies with emphasis on switching. He / She must have excellent analytical skills and will help HPE Aruba’s premium customers in analyzing networks & deliver solutions to problems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing support to HPE Aruba Premium customers for networking technologies and solutions related to Aruba products
  • Work on complex problems requiring in-depth fault analysis and troubleshooting
  • Formulate technical action plans for analyzing and resolving problems
  • Simulate customer issues in lab
  • Participate in solutions for knowledge base
  • Participate in serviceability enhancement requirement reviews
  • Work effectively in a team environment including colleagues, QA and development engineers, and the Aruba field organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Typically 2-5 years experience
  • Expert understanding of IP Protocols like including TCP, UDP, DHCP, ARP, DNS, GRE, HTTP
  • Expert knowledge of switching & routing including OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, EVPN
  • Good understanding of multicast & VPN
  • Good knowledge of 802.1x, Radius, TACACS+, firewalls, security policies, access lists
  • Understanding on virtualization solutions like VMware ESXi, vShpere
  • Good understanding Wireless Lan
  • Knowledge of Linux, Linux like systems
  • Knowledge of python, bash or other scripting language, REST API is a plus
  • Knowledge of Cloud and container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Humio is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Industry certifications like ACSA, ACSP, ACMA, CCNP, JNCIS, JNCIP is plus

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of python, bash or other scripting language, REST API
  • Knowledge of Cloud and container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Humio
