Job Description:

Configuration and Management of on-prem network devices and cloud network/security services, maintaining the network for high availability, performing in-depth troubleshooting, and ticket handling.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of Experience in Core Networking Skills (LAN/WAN/Data Center/ Load balancers/ NAC)
  • Experience in the deployment of leaf-spine architecture and SDN deployment will be an advantage
  • Provide network engineering support to maintain and upgrade the enterprise network infrastructure (Cisco IOS, NXOS, etc.)
  • Monitoring and triaging proactive and reactive issues with the network environment
  • Experience in resolving multiple complex technical problems for critical IT infrastructure ( L1/L2/L3 Networking Devices – Switches, Routers, Firewall, SDWAN
  • Managing network security components for Enterprise, Data Center, and Cloud environments
  • Maintaining lifecycle for technical documentation and network diagrams
  • Execute solution deployment, fault troubleshooting, etc.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis and P1 troubleshooting
  • Handle & Lead New Projects / Technology or Architecture Implementation / Delivery & Sustenance activities Onsite / Offsite
  • Familiarity with ITIL Concepts (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management etc. ) is a Must
  • Diagnosing LAN/WAN issues across PAN India
  • Knowledge and several years of experience with protocols/technologies such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, QoS, vPC/MLAG/CLAG, VXLAN, Network Access Control, 802.1x
  • Experience and expertise with TCP/IP operations and troubleshooting
  • Experience with individual, group, and vendor-assisted troubleshooting
  • Experience working in large-scale IT operations and high-risk networks
  • Familiarity with Python and Ansible automation for networking
  • 4-10 Years of experience in the networking space Cisco - Data L2/L3
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • CCNA Certification or equivalent certification
  • Excellent knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, routers, Campus switches, Fabric Switches, wireless access points & controllers, Load balancer/Application Delivery Controllers, Global Load Balancers, WAN Optimization, Network Access Control Solutions, Network Analytics, Firewalls
  • Exp for Cisco EN product portfolio such as Catalyst 9000 Switches, Meraki, ISR 4000 Routers, ASR Routers, DNA Center, SD-WAN etc.
  • Knowledge of vendor products and technologies from Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Fortinet, HPE Aruba
  • Customer relationship sustaining skills, problem problem-solving ability
  • Good knowledge and experience in one or more Cloud network technologies like AWS, Azure etc.
  • Good knowledge and experience in Networking technologies including Routing, Switching, Internet, Cloud connectivity, tunneling, QoS, etc.
  • Good knowledge and concepts on IPSec
  • Good knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc
  • Experience with Authentication services such as TACACS+, and RADIUS will be a plus
  • Exposure to Automation and Analytics
  • Exposure to network management tools & platforms
  • Effective Verbal and Written communication

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the deployment of leaf-spine architecture and SDN deployment will be an advantage
