Network Deployment Field Engineer

• Supervise & coordinate field deployment activities which are carried out from subcontractors
• Manages fulfillment of network rollout projects and resolves issues and problems during construction phase
• Ensures that network design guidelines and specs are followed in FO construction
• Responsible to secure that guidelines, standards & procedures on H&S are met in the field deployment
• Perform field audits to ensure Health & Safety principles
• Make short visits to corporate customers premises and prepare the Site Survey design which is a prerequisite to create the FO connectivity design
• Prepare reports for field rollout progress status and issues

• Degree in Engineering and/or TEI/IEK equivalent certifications in Fiber Optic technology, or Communications
• Knowledge in optical fiber networks
• In-depth knowledge of the following networking technologies: Construction of FO networks
• FO passive equipment understanding
• FO cabling specs
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements
• Self-motivated pursuing operational excellence
• Effective problem resolution able to think on your feet
• Think Simple. Focus effort and challenge complexity and provide simpler solutions. Communicate in a way that is easy to understand

Relevant Networking related certifications are desirable and will be considered a plus
