Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer to support a program with the Intelligence Community on-site in Springfield, VA, with up to 25-50%. The Network Deployment Engineer will deliver solutions to customers and network systems in accordance with customer requirements. This is a long-term job opportunity. Work is on site in Springfield, VA with up to 25-50% travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver and deploy network solutions as required for selected customer
  • Develop documentation on customer systems and objectives
  • Meet with customers to demo/train on new network architecture
  • Make configuration changes and deploy patches as necessary
  • Troubleshoot and engineer Azure cloud environments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of network engineering experience
  • Must have active TS/SCI
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols
  • Understanding of ExpressRoute and Azure Virtual Networks
  • Experience in WAN/Internet transport and routing, including BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN
  • Understanding of network security and STIG
