At Aurizon, safety comes first. As a Network Controller, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our rail network by operating our world‑class Train Control systems and supporting planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Network Controllers manage, monitor and report on train operating performance and respond to unplanned events across the Network. Working in a high‑reliability environment, you will apply structured processes, sound judgement and clear communication to ensure safe outcomes for our people, customers and communities. Aurizon provides a comprehensive in‑house training program of approximately six months, combining classroom learning with on‑the‑job experience alongside experienced Network Controllers, Network Coordinators and Superintendents. On successful completion, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification. No prior rail experience is required. Once qualified, you will work 9 shifts across a fortnight on a 24/7 rotating roster. This is a residential role based in Rockhampton and is not a FIFO or DIDO position.
