Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site role within a 24/7 operational environment. Candidates must be flexible and available for rotating shifts based on mission priorities. This position plays a critical role in supporting key DoD missions and their associated networks.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation and research
  • Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, error/alarm analysis, and other troubleshooting methods
  • Monitor network performance using specialized tools
  • escalate issues as needed
  • Create and maintain incident tickets using Remedy
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting across a global network infrastructure

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Practical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent)
  • Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret
