Network Architect

• Evaluate the current Microsoft Fabric architecture, including data pipelines, Lakehouse/Warehouse, and Power BI models
• Identify and address gaps in performance, scalability, and governance across the analytics platform
• Enhance data pipelines, semantic models, and reporting structures to improve overall system efficiency
• Establish and implement governance standards, including workspace organization, naming conventions, and documentation
• Improve data lineage visibility and ownership to ensure platform sustainability
• Align the architecture with Microsoft Fabric best practices to optimize functionality and performance
• Provide hands-on training and knowledge transfer to internal technical teams to enable independent management of the platform
• Deliver a detailed assessment report with strategic recommendations for future enhancements
• Develop and implement a governance framework and standards to ensure compliance and organization
• Create comprehensive documentation and a transition plan to facilitate internal ownership

• Extensive experience implementing and optimizing Microsoft Fabric in production environments
• Strong expertise in data engineering, including data pipelines, data modeling, and Power BI semantic models
• Proven ability to assess and improve existing data and analytics environments
• Familiarity with translating technical improvements into maintainable, practical solutions
• Experience working in the Azure ecosystem and leveraging its capabilities
• Background in mentoring or enabling internal teams through training and knowledge sharing
• Preferably, experience in healthcare or other regulated industries
• At least 7 years of relevant experience
