Design, implement and support secure wired and wireless network infrastructure (Arista switching and Wi-Fi platforms), ensuring performance, resilience and appropriate segmentation.
Manage network routing, switching and access control to maintain secure and reliable connectivity across the campus.
Maintain and optimise firewall and web filtering platforms to ensure secure access, appropriate content filtering and safeguarding compliance (including KCSIE requirements).
Monitor network traffic and security events using Splunk and related tooling, investigating alerts and supporting detection, containment and remediation of incidents.
Support vulnerability management processes across network and security infrastructure.
Contribute to the development of network resilience, segmentation and cyber security controls.
Produce safeguarding and security-related reporting to support pastoral and safeguarding teams.
Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, security configurations and standards.
Work with external partners and service providers to maintain high levels of security and availability.

Support compliance with relevant security and data protection frameworks, including Cyber Essentials, NCSC guidance and ISO-aligned standards where applicable.
Develop a good understanding of safeguarding procedures, given all positions are classed as 'regulated activity'.
Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This includes but is not limited to completing safeguarding training as required, complying with all safeguarding procedures and ensuring any safeguarding updates issued by the clients are read and understood.
