We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to support and maintain a reliable enterprise network environment in Phoenix, Arizona. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can manage core infrastructure, strengthen network security, and ensure stable connectivity across business operations. The role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco networking equipment, firewall platforms, and Active Directory in a fast-paced technical setting.
Job Responsibility:
Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switching environments, and LAN connectivity to support daily operations
Monitor network performance, identify connectivity issues, and resolve disruptions to maintain consistent system availability
Configure, manage, and optimize firewall technologies to protect systems and enforce network security standards
Support user and system access by maintaining Active Directory components related to network authentication and permissions
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues across the network and implement timely corrective actions
Perform network updates, configuration changes, and infrastructure improvements while minimizing operational downtime
Document network configurations, support activities, and technical procedures to maintain clear operational records
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Network Administrator or in a similar infrastructure support role
Strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco routers, Cisco networking, and LAN environments
Practical experience configuring and supporting firewall technologies in a business setting
Working knowledge of Active Directory administration and access management
Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently across multiple systems and users
Familiarity with network documentation, maintenance processes, and operational best practices
