Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and functionality of enterprise network environments while ensuring their performance meets organizational needs. If you have a passion for implementing effective network solutions and resolving complex issues, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide Tier 2 support to address and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain and enhance the security and reliability of network systems to ensure consistent information availability
  • Implement comprehensive network solutions tailored to meet specific business requirements
  • Integrate and manage complex network designs as part of organizational initiatives
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
  • Configure and manage Cisco routers, firewalls, and other essential network devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and optimize wireless and LAN environments
  • Utilize load balancing technologies to optimize network traffic and performance
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing network systems
  • Document network configurations and procedures to ensure clear communication and compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience (Associate's degree with 2+ years of related experience may be considered)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in network administration
  • Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Netware Engineer (CCNE), or Certified Information Systems Security Specialist (CISSP) are preferred
  • Proficiency in managing firewall technologies and load balancing systems
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and active directory
  • Strong knowledge of LAN and wireless technologies
  • Familiarity with multi-vendor and multi-platform environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure

Nice to have:

Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Netware Engineer (CCNE), or Certified Information Systems Security Specialist (CISSP)
