Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our client's IT team. This role offers a compelling opportunity to manage, optimize, and secure our network infrastructure, contributing to the efficiency and stability of our organization's IT operations. As a Network Administrator you will play a vital role in overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our client's network systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted network connectivity, security, and performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strategic mindset for network management.

Job Responsibility:

Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network architectures
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance speed and reliability
Administer network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
Monitor network traffic and usage patterns to optimize resource allocation and prevent security breaches
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with applications, servers, and cloud services
Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and migrations while minimizing downtime and disruptions
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in alignment with security policies
Provide advanced technical support to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and protocols
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to the network infrastructure

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of experience in network administration or a similar role
Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and network security concepts
Strong knowledge of network hardware, including Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly beneficial
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
Detail-oriented approach to network design, documentation, and implementation
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Nice to have:

Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
