Configure, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, and SAN technologies
Administer and support both physical and virtual server environments
Configure and manage enterprise‑grade firewalls, including routing, VPNs, encryption, and security policies following industry best practices
Monitor network performance and availability using tools such as SolarWinds, Servers Alive, and FortiCloud
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across complex Layer 2/3 and physical network topologies
Apply firmware updates, security patches, and system upgrades to critical infrastructure
Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to network topology, configurations, changes, patching, and service records
Evaluate network architecture and performance impacts to applications and end‑user experience
Collaborate with vendors and service providers, documenting findings, recommendations, and resolutions
Ensure compliance with data confidentiality policies and applicable state and federal regulations
Requirements:
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, including VLANs, STP, static/dynamic routing
Knowledge of redundancy and high‑availability technologies (LAG, LACP, failover automation)
Experience diagnosing issues across complex switching and routing environments
Familiarity with VoIP technologies (Cisco Call Manager, Unity, CER, SIP, Webex, Teams)
Experience with VMware and virtualized infrastructure environments
Working knowledge of hybrid Active Directory environments and security concepts
Understanding of certificate management, backups, and system restoration
Strong documentation, communication, and vendor‑coordination skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Industry certifications preferred (Network+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent)
3–5 years of hands‑on experience supporting enterprise networking technologies, including: Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Wireless
