Job Description:

The Network Administrator role involves maintaining our local and wide area networks. The Network Administrator works to ensure the reliability and performance of all network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as related services such as DHCP and DNS. The position requires experience in evaluating, configuring, and troubleshooting network architectures, and a working knowledge of associated peripherals and services. The successful candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, as they will be addressing customer requests, performing network configurations, and providing technical support.

Job Responsibility:

Experience working on Switches and routers (Cisco catalyst, Nexus, Dell Switches Preferred)
VPC, HSRP and STP configuration
Network device security configuration
UTM and Firewall configuration and maintenance (Sonicwall, Fortigate)
VPN configuration and troubleshooting
Design network security as per the requirement of customer
Monitoring of network devices
Use automation for network deployments
Diagnose customer reported problems or configuration issues and recommend possible solutions within agreed SLAs
Provide technical reviews of network documentation
Creating network design document such as HLD and LLDs
Evaluation of new technology

Requirements:

Experience: 3-5 Years
Must Have Skill Set: Provide L2 network support for switches and routers
Hands-on experience with data center network switches and routers (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Dell switches, Firewall)
Detailed understanding of VPC, HSRP, STP configuration, UTM, and firewall configuration
Experience in creating scripts for automation of network deployments
Strong understanding of large-scale network architecture
