Job Description:

This Network Administrator role involves managing LAN/WAN, virtual environments, and server administration while supporting network security. Job Responsibility:

Administer, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks
Manage and maintain virtual environments using VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and/or Linux servers
Implement and support network security measures including firewalls, VPN, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
Oversee user account management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies
Monitor system and network performance, ensuring availability, reliability, and optimal uptime
Manage backups, disaster recovery, and storage systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and server-related issues
Assist with patch management, updates, and system upgrades
Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations
Maintain documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching)
Hands-on VMware experience (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) required
Proficiency with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, File/Print services)
Experience with backup and recovery tools, storage solutions, and patch management
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

CompTIA Network+, Security+, VMware VCP, or Microsoft certifications
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar)
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems
