Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Network Administrator to maintain, configure, and support our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of all network systems while providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other networking systems
  • Manage and maintain network hardware, including servers, routers, switches, access points, and firewalls
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
  • Perform network configuration and upgrades, ensuring all components are updated with the latest patches and security measures
  • Administer network access, including setting up user accounts, permissions, and remote access solutions
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to safeguard systems and data (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, and encryption protocols)
  • Regularly test disaster recovery plans and create backups of critical systems and configurations
  • Collaborate with IT staff and stakeholders to identify and meet business needs effectively
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and protocols
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for data security and network integrity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and access points
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and other networking protocols
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
  • Proficiency in managing firewall configurations and network security measures
  • Experience with cloud network administration is a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable, such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud network administration (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
