Network Administrator

• Administer and monitor Windows Server environments, ensuring system performance, user access, and regular patch updates
• Manage and support portions of the campus network infrastructure, including routing and switching
• Maintain backup and recovery systems, with a focus on Veeam technologies
• Implement and oversee network security measures, including firewall operations using Palo Alto technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, and infrastructure issues across the campus
• Collaborate with IT team members, including network administrators, systems administrators, and network technicians
• Document system configurations, procedures, and updates to ensure operational consistency
• Partner with IT managers to address escalations and contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Support the enhancement of network reliability and operational stability through proactive measures

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role
• Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy
• Hands-on experience with backup solutions such as Veeam
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with enterprise firewall technologies, such as Palo Alto
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based IT environment
• Strong documentation and communication skills to support system clarity

Exposure to hybrid IT environments and experience in higher education or public sector is a plus
