This role focuses on maintaining the stability and security of network systems while providing support to internal users and ensuring seamless system functionality. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco network environments and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the daily operations of network devices and servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Monitor system performance and network traffic to proactively identify and address potential issues
Implement upgrades and repairs to keep systems operating efficiently and securely
Develop and execute strategies to enhance system security across computers and the network
Regularly assess and optimize system functionality to meet organizational needs
Manage user access by assigning and updating security permissions within the network
Provide training and guidance to users on proper software and hardware usage
Respond promptly to user alerts and system monitoring notifications to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
Document system configurations, procedures, and updates for reference and compliance
Serve as Level 2 support for Help Desk inquiries, assisting with more complex technical issues
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a quantitative focus
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a Cisco network environment
Certification in Cisco networking (e.g., CCNA) is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server administration
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and environments
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with firewall technologies and Active Directory
Knowledge of LAN (Local Area Network) setup and management
