Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Developer to own and evolve our NetSuite environment end-to-end. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain customizations and integrations that streamline our finance and operations processes, ensuring NetSuite effectively supports Wrike’s growth and strategic objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0), SuiteFlow, and saved searches to support business workflows
  • Build and maintain RESTlet-based integrations and web services to connect NetSuite with internal and external systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite-related technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations
  • Participate in code reviews, enforce development best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of our NetSuite development standards
  • Stay current with new NetSuite features, SuiteCloud capabilities, and industry best practices, proactively recommending enhancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Developer
  • Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0 (Client, Server, Scheduled Scripts, RESTlets)
  • Extensive experience with SuiteFlow workflows and saved searches
  • Solid understanding of NetSuite customization capabilities, SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), and deployment processes
  • Proven experience integrating NetSuite with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Background in software development with strong JavaScript and SQL skills
  • familiarity with web services concepts (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer) are a plus
  • Experience designing robust, secure, and scalable integration architectures between NetSuite and multiple business systems
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into efficient technical solutions within NetSuite
  • Strong ownership mindset with a track record of driving projects from requirements through deployment and support
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control for NetSuite (e.g., Git with SDF-based deployments)
  • Ability to challenge requirements constructively and propose better alternatives based on product and technical understanding
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders
