Job Description

Our Utah-based client is looking for an experienced NetSuite Developer to take charge of a complex and heavily customized NetSuite environment for a 3–6-month contract engagement. This role involves stabilizing the system, optimizing workflows, and providing scalable solutions to improve functionality. This opportunity is ideal for professionals eager to make a lasting impact while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of the current NetSuite setup, including Financials and SuiteCommerce, to identify areas for improvement
  • Redesign inefficient or overly customized processes to align with NetSuite’s native functionalities
  • Minimize script dependency by replacing quick fixes with robust, scalable solutions
  • Address system issues, resolve support tickets, and streamline workflows for improved efficiency
  • Develop and refactor SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x) to enhance system capabilities
  • Collaborate with the Ops and Finance teams to improve data accuracy and usability
  • Offer expert guidance on NetSuite best practices to ensure optimal system utilization
  • Manage user permissions and maintain system security
  • Support day-to-day administrative needs while driving long-term improvements
  • Enhance SuiteCommerce functionality, ensuring seamless integration with other modules

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with NetSuite, including Financials and SuiteCommerce
  • Proficiency in SuiteScript development, both 1.0 and 2.x versions
  • Strong background in optimizing and cleaning up complex, customized NetSuite environments
  • Proven ability to design scalable processes that align with NetSuite’s core features
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business users
  • Knowledge of API development and NetSuite integrations
  • Must be located within compatible time zones for effective collaboration
