Job Description

Our partner is seeking an experienced .NET WPF Developer to support the development, maintenance, and modernisation of desktop applications within a critical operational environment. The role involves working on applications that contribute to real-time decision-making and system stability in a high-reliability context.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain desktop applications using WPF and .NET
  • Modernise and rewrite legacy applications built on older .NET frameworks
  • Design and implement clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and product stakeholders
  • Contribute to technical design and improvement of existing systems
  • Ensure application performance, stability, and usability in production environments
  • Work either independently or as part of a structured development team

Requirements

  • Strong experience with C# and .NET development
  • Solid expertise in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
  • Experience with desktop application architecture and lifecycle
  • Ability to refactor and modernize legacy .NET applications
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and clean code practices

Nice to have

  • Experience working on large-scale or enterprise applications
  • Exposure to mission-critical or high-reliability systems
