Job Description

Beacon Technologies is seeking a .NET Web Developer II for our client partner. The person in this position will work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application
  • Project duties include requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, participation in interactive code reviews, and development using Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC with C# and JavaScript, Telerik Kendo, CSS, HTML and SQL Server databases

Requirements

  • Application development expertise using .NET MVC Core with C# and JavaScript, CSS, and HTML (5 years)
  • Application development experience with Visual Studio including .NET application and web application design patterns (5 years)
  • Experience with SQL Server and Client tools, including creating/updating database tables, views, stored procedures, and functions (5 years)
  • Experience performing unit and smoke tests (5 years)
  • Candidates must be a Wisconsin resident or willing to relocate to Wisconsin prior to starting the role at their own expense

Nice to have

  • Experience with Telerik Kendo (or similar), Bootstrap, Entity Framework Core (3 years)
  • Experience with source control using Git (3 years)
  • Techniques to proactively prevent and reactively respond to security threats (3 years)
