Job Description

Liberator Medical Supply, a subsidiary of Client, is seeking an experienced .Net Software Engineer. This is an opportunity to use your broad technical expertise to support and enhance our application systems by developing solutions which enable everyone at Liberator Medical Supply to seamlessly execute their jobs and deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate and has full stack software development experience, database systems, agile methodologies, and is proficient in .Net programming languages (C# / VB.Net).

Job Responsibility

  • Develop software solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary
  • Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development process
  • Create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Program SQL views, stored procedures, and functions
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms
  • Develop and analyze automated tests
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Participate, support, and enforce agile SDLC processes
  • Write and update technical documentation posted to wiki
  • Maintain a working knowledge of application development tools
  • Develop and maintain reports and other knowledge management functions
  • Ongoing education to keep all software development tools in the latest version

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related subject, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years’ experience in MS Visual Studio and SQL required
  • Strong written and verbal skills required inclusive of the ability to communicate with all levels of management and end users effectively and positively
  • Solid foundation in Visual Studio to develop in C# and VB.Net
  • Experience with Windows forms, Web (MVC), and Web API development frameworks
  • Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database development
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Experience writing unit tests
  • Skilled with using tools from Telerik and/or Infragistics
  • Understanding of Scrum and Kanban
  • Familiar with Jira, Bitbucket (Git), and Bamboo a plus
  • Must be available or on-call whenever software systems are operating
