This effort will establish a comprehensive and authoritative foundation to support future architectural modernization, scalability initiatives, and technology enhancements across the platform.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct detailed discovery and analysis of our clients' .NET and C++ application services and databases, including core functionalities and inter-system dependencies.
  • Document and diagram the existing Windows-based infrastructure hosted on AWS alongside multiple types of datastores (SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB).
  • Analyze and document production deployment pipelines leveraging Jira and GitHub Actions, ensuring clear visibility into build, release, and operational workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for technological improvements, architectural enhancements, and process optimizations, and provide actionable recommendations where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Hands on experience with the following technologies: .NET Development
  • Configuration/Management of Windows Servers (running on Amazon EC2)
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Relational Databases (preferably SQL Server, MySQL)
  • AWS Cloudformation
  • An outstanding ability to investigate and solve technical issues in complex, undocumented technical stacks.
  • Excellent English-language communication and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders (written and verbal)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects independently

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of Jira and GitHub Action integration
  • Knowledge of managing/configuring document databases (DynamoDB)
  • Fluency in C++
What we offer:
  • Great benefits that vary based on the country from which you choose to apply. Feel free to ask about the specific benefits available in your location.
  • A flexible, hybrid working policy.
  • A rewarding, supportive and healthy company culture.
  • A reputation for doing good. DEPT® has been a Certified B Corp® since 2021 and named ‘Agency of the Year’ at both The Lovies and The Webby Awards.
  • Awesome clients. Whether big or small, local or global — at DEPT® you’ll get the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes and across all industries. And we celebrate all of our successes together!
  • The opportunity for possibility. We want to enable you to do what you do best and help you develop your skills further with training, development and certifications.
  • Global annual DEPT® Cares Month in which employees come together and donate their skills to support local charities.
