This project focuses on maintaining and transforming a mature .NET application ecosystem into a secure, scalable, cloud-native architecture. The environment includes both legacy .NET Framework systems and modern .NET 6/8 services deployed on AWS. You will work on feature enhancements, system integrations, infrastructure improvements, and modernization efforts while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and globally.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and enhance mature .NET applications (Framework and .NET 8)
Modernize legacy .NET Framework code to modern cloud-native architecture
Deliver frequent production merges and incremental improvements
Integrate with third-party systems (payments, hotel platforms, identity providers)
Collaborate actively with Product, UX, QA, Operations, and global teams
Lead initiatives and take ownership of technical solutions
Analyze existing processes and implement improvements
Learn and apply Terraform for infrastructure management
Utilize APM tools to monitor and optimize application performance
Contribute to a positive, collaborative engineering culture
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience with C# and ASP.NET (Framework or Core)
3+ years of experience maintaining and modernizing mature .NET web applications
3+ years of experience with MySQL, SQL Server, or equivalent relational databases
Experience designing and supporting secure, scalable cloud architectures
Strong experience with REST APIs and service-based systems
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
Strong communication skills
English level: B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
