Job Description:

Your role will be to ensure that the 'Gold Standards' of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day, contributing to the exceptional luxury experience the brand is known for. This includes serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, communicating with the kitchen, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will also support team collaboration and uphold quality expectations and standards.

Job Responsibility:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
set tables according to event and service standards
answer questions on menu selections
communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and special requests
record transactions in MICROS system
maintain cleanliness of work areas and supplies
complete closing duties
ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to service standards
develop positive working relationships with others
assist with special requests and guest needs, including disabilities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects
ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
ability to move over sloping surfaces, stairs, and ramps
ability to reach overhead and below the knees
ability to communicate with guests, team members, and supervisors
adherence to quality expectations and standards.
