Job Description:

This role focuses on creating and managing machine configurators for food processing equipment using the Lego Builder platform. The configurators allow flexible, accurate machine configurations and are integrated with key enterprise systems like SAP, EqC (AutoCAD) PLC, and Windchill, etc. The position combines technical expertise with digital tools to streamline the quotation-to-production process, ensuring tailored solutions for quotation to customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Creating and managing configurators for our machines, both locally and globally
  • Aiming to design state-of-the-art configurators for our new machines, as well as keeping our existing configurators up-to-date and efficient
  • Working closely with Product Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quotation teams
  • Training manufacturing teams on new and updated configurators, providing data evaluations
  • Stepping in to support teams as a Super User when needed

Requirements:

  • Technical education (Mechanical Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software
  • Understanding of manufacturing principles
  • Fluent English (B2+)
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Customer-focused with good judgment and decision-making abilities

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Czech and German
  • Experience as a configurator builder
  • Knowledge of SAP/PLC, Windchill
