Job Description:

Norfolk and Waveney Mind is looking for two part-time Project Coordinators to deliver a programme of Nature Connection activities to improve the wellbeing of local communities within, and surrounding, the following Wilder Norwich project areas: NWT Sweet Briar Marshes, Mousehold Heath, Whitlingham Country Park. The project will use a community organising approach to work with residents, community groups and businesses to increase the abundance and diversity of nature in Norwich.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver a programme of Nature Connection activities to improve the wellbeing of local communities within, and surrounding, Wilder Norwich project areas
  • Work with residents, community groups and businesses to increase the abundance and diversity of nature in Norwich
  • Offer a range of nature-based wellbeing activities to communities in areas of high deprivation

Requirements:

  • Energetic and experienced community worker with a passion for nature and wellbeing
  • Must have lived experience of mental health is valued but not a requirement
