We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Designer to join our high-performing Design Systems team. In this role, you will contribute to the Reveille design system, applying human-centered and systems design to create seamless experiences for our members. You will work in a data-informed, agile environment, moving from discovery and ideation to prototyping and delivery. We are looking for a designer who is passionate about the “why” behind the “what”—understanding the nuances of different platforms while ensuring the brand is applied consistently and effectively through established conventions and design tokens.
Job Responsibility:
Create, document, and maintain design assets and specifications within the Reveille design system
Design for both iOS and Android, sticking closely to native platform conventions while integrating brand-specific requirements
Work cross-functionally with stakeholders and developers to ensure work meets business requirements and technical feasibility
Support member-focused research and synthesize findings to drive design directions that align with user needs
Participate in design reviews and critiques
ensure all designs meet usability and accessibility best practices as well as risk and compliance standards
Build functional prototypes to test concepts and communicate design intent to engineering teams
Requirements:
2+ years of on-the-job experience in Product Design, UX Design, or Service Design
Proven experience working with style guides, component libraries, and complex design systems
Advanced skills in Figma, including modern features such as variables and design tokens
Understanding of iOS and Android platform conventions and the nuances between them
Understanding of responsive design, modern web technologies (CSS flexbox/grid), and mobile web patterns
Must be open, expressive, and engaging
A strong portfolio demonstrating attention to detail, systemic thinking, and a history of delivering digital products
Nice to have:
A foundational understanding of the technical side of product development
Military experience
Solid understanding of WCAG best practices and inclusive design
