Job Description:

This is a senior, field-based role supporting multiple branches across the UK, ideal for an experienced care professional who thrives on variety, leadership and hands-on operational support. The National Support Manager will work closely with senior leadership and branch teams to provide operational, people and quality support across the organisation. This is a hands-on position, supporting services during periods of growth, transition or additional operational need. The role involves national travel and occasional on-call duties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide leadership, direction and operational support to domiciliary care branches nationwide
  • Support and supervise branch staff, ensuring care delivery meets individual client needs
  • Assist with recruitment activity including interviews, onboarding, references and DBS checks
  • Deliver inductions, supervision and ongoing staff support
  • Support performance management, probation reviews and disciplinary processes where required
  • Monitor staffing levels, rotas and continuity of care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, health & safety and internal policies
  • Oversee care planning, assessments and regular service user reviews
  • Ensure mandatory training compliance via training matrices
  • Support quality assurance activity, audits and service improvement initiatives
  • Promote clear communication across teams and escalate trends or concerns to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Experience in domiciliary care at Deputy Manager level or above
  • Proven experience managing and supporting care teams
  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (minimum)
  • Strong understanding of care compliance, quality and people management
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Willingness to work every other weekend and provide on-call support
  • Flexible, resilient and supportive leadership style
