We’re seeking a commercially driven National SMB & Perimeter Manager to lead the growth and execution of our SMB and Perimeter strategies across Australia. Reporting to the National Key Accounts Leader – Australia, this role focuses on building market position and driving profitable growth through strong partner, customer, and influencer relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Lead SMB & Perimeter growth: Develop and deliver national strategies that drive profitable business growth
Build key relationships: Establish and grow partnerships with channel partners, clients, and industry influencers
Strengthen the partner channel: Enhance partner engagement, capability, and alignment with Gallagher’s global partner programme
Support sales execution: Provide in-market support including partner enablement, system design input, and tender assistance
Inform product and market direction: Share customer, competitor, and market insights to support product and service development
Plan, forecast, and report: Deliver accurate sales planning, forecasting, and reporting aligned to business strategy
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in business development or sales within a B2B IT, security systems, or international/export environment
Experience in Commercial Access Control and/or Perimeter Security
Ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and inform strategy
Experience supporting tender responses and major account development
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
A disciplined, results-driven approach with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity
A collaborative style and the ability to work cross-functionally across sales, technical, product, and operations teams
Ability to travel nationally on a regular basis
A current security license or the ability to obtain one
Nice to have:
Security systems installation experience is desirable but not essential
